Buddy K Big Band

Hendersonville Theatre proudly presents the Buddy K Band as the final intimate Hometown Sound concert of 2023. If you love classical standards as well as the music of Les Brown, Count Basie, Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey, you will want to get your tickets for this magical evening of big band swing and jazz music. Formed in 1983, The Buddy K Big Band is the longest-running big band in Western North Carolina. Composed of 19 talented musicians that love the big band sounds of Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Tommy Dorsey, and other classic big bands, the Buddy K Band has performed in many venues throughout the Southeast. The band plays such favorites as Moonlight Serenade, In The Mood, Moon River and Satin Doll, just to name a few. A perfect kick-off to get into the mood for the holiday season!
