The Beehive Resale Shop Consignment & Boutique Celebrates Grand Opening in New Location

After 42 years at the same location, The Beehive Resale Shop Consignment & Boutique has moved to a fresh, new space just two doors down — now located at 429 North Main Street, Suite 2, in Downtown Hendersonville, the former home of Shelley’s Jewelry.

The Beehive will celebrate this exciting new chapter with a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Celebration on Tuesday, October 7th from 4–7 p.m.

Founded in 1983 by Betty Carter, The Beehive has long been a part of the Downtown Hendersonville community. Carter operated the store until 2004, when she sold it to Christine Filka. In August 2020, Tracy Graham and Tonya Cochran Sutton became the new owners, carrying forward the shop’s legacy while adding their own modern touches.

“After 42 years in the same location, it was time for an update, a fresh new look, and refreshed branding,” said co-owner Tracy Graham. “We’re excited to welcome customers into a brighter, more open space while still keeping the same heart and values that The Beehive has always stood for.”

In addition to their well-loved consignment clothing and accessories, Tracy and Tonya have expanded the boutique’s offerings to include new jewelry, sunglasses, museum scarves, baby gifts, vintage designer handbags and more.
