Judo for Self Defense Workshop

Judo can be a highly effective martial art in certain situations. This unique combat sport relies heavily on throws and joint locks. Judo training can be beneficial, if combined with other martial arts such as Krav Maga, Muay Thai and BJJ.  Several Judo moves can help you defend yourself in dangerous situations, including throws, joint locks, etc. This workshop will teach you the best self defense techniques Judo has to offer in a 2 hour workshop.
Here is an excellent list of Judo self-defense techniques:
  1. Shoulder throws such as Seoi-Nage and Ippon-Seoi-Nage are the first Judo moves for self-defense. These moves are practical in throwing your opponents over their shoulders and subduing them quickly. 
  2. Hip throws are another effective self-defense move you can learn when practicing Judo martial art. 
  3. Joint locks are another excellent judo techniques that can be practical for self-defense. These techniques are beneficial for controlling or submitting an opponent, regardless of size.
?Learn from Judo Expert Rusty Haun who holds a 3 degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a 2nd degree black blet in Judo. This 2 hour workshop will cover the most effective throws and finishes in the judo library of techniques.
