Ribbon Cutting: Cantrell Creek Trail

Join us in celebration of Cantrell Creek Trail!

The Pisgah Conservancy, along with partner organizations, are pleased to announce the grand re-opening of Cantrell Creek Trail. Trail work has been completed to address issues of the sediment deposits the trail put into Cantrell Creek and the trail is open for use. The trail now provides a connecting trail from Squirrel Gap to South Mills River, while protecting the Eastern Hellbenders and Southern Appalachian Brook Trout that inhabit the creek which is a tributary to the South Mills River.
