Maintenance/Custodial worker

We are currently seeking an experienced?Maintenance/Custodial Worker?to join our team in Hendersonville, NC.

Who are we? 

We are a nonprofit Head Start organization that was established in 1974.?We serve migrant and seasonal farmworker children and families by providing high-quality 

early childhood education in a safe and nurturing environment. We have 50 campuses across 10 states, and we serve nearly 3,000 children each year.

Desired Skills: 

Knowledge of general maintenance, modern cleaning methods, materials, equipment and general safety hazardous materials rules and regulations. 

Ability to read and understand written and electronic information. 

High integrity and capable to work independently. 

Ability to communicate effectively.

Requirements:? 

High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in maintenance/custodial related work.? 

Experience working with Latino community, knowledge of the Latino migrant farmworker culture/lifestyle. Head Start experience preferred.? 

Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Starting pay:?$15.50 - $18.50
